This is about my dad's yellow oleander tree in his backyard near his pool. The hot sun of Palm Springs really brings out the colors in trees, a bit of a glittering effect. But more than that, it's about taking a moment, putting it through a confetti shredder, and only being left with the color and your emotional reaction to it.
This is a watercolor on watercolor paper, framed in a 14.75x 17" west elm frame with a mat opening of 9.5" x 7.25".
