This was my favorite tree, I gained a special connection to it when I was living in Kirkland. It was the biggest tree in the area, stuck out like a sore thumb. I'd view it from my porch in turbulent weather, I loved watching it sway with the wind and rain. After studying it with oil paint for awhile I decided to try another medium.
This print is also a reflection of how I draw, I tend to make the frame of reference last instead of first for composing reasons.
This print was made on Sumi paper with speedball ink. High quality framing, measures 12.7" x 12.7" with a 4.5" x 6.5" opening.
